Leathery Goodness became better balanced

My title is as good as grammar gets ladies and gentlemen.

I made Leather Gloves and Leather Armor have a high higher dex penalty (Still not all that high), but better blocking done. Also drops are less likely on Gloves/Boots, but armor remains the same.

Coming soon! Partially Digested Warrior Armor! Warrior Spiders in the spider tunnels will drop this. Drop chance will be low and the spiders will be MEAN. You WILL want leather armor, or any armor covering up your parts (preferably leather...steel is gonna be a set back in dex). And by low I'm talking 15% drop chance :O

But why?

Well who knows how special the insides of a spider are?

Thieves and High Road!

Hello again! I'm back at it this time with Thieves and the first High Road.

Thieves
Thieves have stats very relative to yours in dex, int, and str, however they are heavily armored with Leather Armor, Leather Gloves, and Leather Boots. They also have a small chance to drop relatively worthless daggers.

Leather Armor/Gloves/Boots
Leather armor has a good block chance with an average damage blocked and dexterity loss. Gloves have little dexterity loss because they force you to not have a weapon equipped in the slot you equip them to. Boots have no dexterity loss, because lets be honest, shoes make you faster usually.

High Road
High Road will continue for about 3 areas total all named High Road, and will connect with the exit to the Spider Cave (in case you feel like skipping the spider area). It will have a connection to the City on the Sea (no name yet, this is the city's description), however to get to the City on the Sea will prove to be rather difficult...(hooray! bosses ;) )

Keep looking here this week for all the updates! I will be finishing off the Spider Cave with two more areas and a boss, not to mention Warrior Spiders!

What is 'The North West' and where is it going?

The North West is going many places, and most of all, North. My very very last area I have planned for now is 'The top of the World', and yep you guessed it, its a mountain. But we've got mountains! Ahh shut your whiny mouths! That mountain comes after a sea journey, and pirates, and Hydra and stuff.

What's in it now?

Right now at THIS MOMENT (note: tentative) are The North West Hills, The Fork, and Spider Cave Cavern. The only mob I've created is 'Small Spiders'. (Get your sweaty wiki hands going, here comes some Infooooooo). (Update: I will be removing exact values because I'm not supposed to share those)

Small Spiders

Small Spiders are mainly meant to have a high dex, which means they hit more often, and a low amount of hitpoints. This keeps them relatively easy to kill, but still annoying like they would be to our adventurer.

Spider Fang

A Spider Fang is a high crit chance item. Its values are pushing the limits of people's health. It can two-hit so be careful! The best way to beat a spider is to unequip your heavy armor to try and hit it first, without the dex loss.

P.S. I would make the crit chance higher or crit multiplier greater, but then the Spider could one hit you :(

What's this blog for anyway?

This blog is for people to find detailed information on anything that gets added by me, The Fox, into the game Initium .

Isn't that what a wiki is for?

Well, yes, but here you will find the WHY. 'The Why' will actually be a daily/hourly/weekly/whatever I want-ly blog post that will tell you why the items have the values they do and why there a mobs in certain areas, etc. Here you will also find (besides poor grammar) possibly short stories about our character, videos, pictures, updates, and special previews of what's to come from me!

So who are you again?

I'm a content developer for the game, which basically means I design some images for areas and items, define new items with values (etc.), define new mobs, and new paths. I DON'T write code for the game, and I DON'T NECESSARILY REFLECT THE VIEWS OR IDEAS OF THE CREATOR (there's the glorious disclaimer).
